    Do This Daily, Earn $25k MORE This Year!

    You're probably thinking, "Yeah, right!"  Well, I'm about to give you the secret.  The one thing I did that absolutely CHANGED my business, my income, my lifestyle, my skill level, my outlook, my confidence... I believe that doing this one little thing every day is the only reason I am still in the business. 

    Anybody out there who is making loads of cash had to practice to get to where they were, right?  Doctors, for example, practice on cadavers before they operate on one of us.  Football teams, practice weeks and weeks before they play a game.  Heck, even the guy flippin' your burger had to be trained and practice before they left him unattended to make your food.

    It's just plain nutty to me that real estate is an industry where you can go to school on-line, pass a test, get some fingerprints done and TA-DA!, you're licensed to assist people make, for most, what is the SINGLE LARGEST TRANSACTION THEY'LL EVER MAKE IN THEIR LIVES...and the industry requires no practice, no proof that you're actually any good at it, no accountability-really?

    So, as a professional we have an obligation to practice our trade, sharpen our skills, be our best. 

    I'm talking about practicing SCRIPTS, daily!  Everyday.  Put it in your calendar, timeblock 30 minutes for it. 

    There are SEVERAL ways to practice your scripts.  Here's what I've found to be the most efficient and productive.

    Read them out loud, as fast as you can, everyday. 

     

    Don't try to sound good.... don't practice down swings or karate chops... just READ!

    If you don't have scripts for sales, then start with your local board contract.  Yup, read that contract over and over again for at least 30 days.... trust me, no one will know it better than you!

    Clients in my Coaching Program have made a commitment to practicing scripts daily.  I have a special phone number dedicated JUST to calling in scripts daily, this also adds accountability.  No matter how you do it, just do it... something!  It's a small tweek in your daily habits and can change your business.

    So, is it worth 30 minutes a day to earn an extra $25,000 this year?

    You're Only As Good As Your Timeblock

    Let's talk timeblocking.  What is it and what can it do for your business?

    The skill (yes, it's a skill) of timeblocking is simple.  It's creating a schedule... one that you stick to.  Sticking to it is the tricky part!

    Here's why it's important:

    You plan a trip, right?  You plan a picnic, right?  You plan dinner, right?  You plan what you're going to wear out on Friday night!  Why are you not planning your business?  I'll give you the bottom line:  If you aren't timeblocking-get out of the business.  Too harsh?  Well, I'm not here to sugar coat it.  This is your life we're talking about, let's get serious and on purpose about it.

    So, how do we go about it?  I'll give you some pointers on what works.

    First:  Get a calendar.  I recommend google or outlook... anything that you can enter recurring events into.  Recurring events are those that happen over and over every week.  If you are doing a handwritten one it's time to get out of your comfort zone.  YES... Put the "Day Planner" down.

    Next:  Jot down events that happen for you every week religiously.  Examples would be; church, pick up kids from school, lead generation, open house, exercise, American Idol, update social media, coaching appointment, office meetings, DAYS OFF, etc.

    Now:  Enter these events into your calendar as a recurrence with no end date.  You can color code if you want.  Don't get frustrated if you're having challenges.  You'll figure it out, you're a smart one!

    Now:  You've GOT TO follow it.  In other words, if your calendar says you're lead generating from 9-11am and you get a call from a Buyer who wants to look at 10am... what is your answer?  Yea, it can get tough.  Remember this, if you let clients run your timeblock or your schedule, you let them run your business.  And who do you think cares more about YOUR business???  OK.
